This control often involves increasing production temperatures, which raises the cost of DHW. The share of DHW now often represents between 40% and 50% of the total energy consumption of public buildings.<br>There are many ways to reduce water and energy consumption in buildings \u2014 from water networks and treatment systems to hot water production and sanitary fittings.
